We had a great series of meetings for which we give God the glory. It was a time of revival for our church. For that we are thankful.
Prayer requests were many as always for the sick, hurting, widows, lost ones, our nation and leaders. We prayed for Brother Van Menzies, who was at Lone Star Church Sunday morning.
Following Sunday school, Stan Humbyrd and Brad Siler received our Lord’s tithes and offerings. Danny Johnson led us in songs and testimonies were given.
Pastor Neal prayed and read from Luke 11. Jesus taught on persistence in prayer. We make the decision–will we be persistent to come boldly to the throne of grace or will we not. It always pays to pray.
At 6 p.m., prayer requests were for Tammy Call, Jeanie Cummins, the Roberts family and the Options Pregnancy Clinic’s fundraising banquet, Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Danny and Connie Johnson sang.
Testimonies were shared. Brother Van Menzies read from II Peter 3, the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night.
Some from the church will help with the food for the banquet Thursday night.
Next Sunday will be the Food Harvest Collection.
Salem Church this week is having revival this week.
Each Tuesday at 7 p.m. is special prayer time.
We are so grateful for answered prayers.
