Carl and Joan Fletcher visited with Billy Fletcher, Saturday. Billy Fletcher, Carol Riggs, and Stanley Goodrich went out to the home of Fred and Charlie Lindberg, Sunday to attend a birthday celebration for Doris Holman.
Norma Stillings visited at the Heart of the Ozarks, Tuesday afternoon and Saturday morning. She attended the CHART/Interagency meeting Thursday at the MOCH Clinic. Friday, Norma went to Springfield to attend the Region 10 Fall meeting of Missouri Retired Teachers and School Personnel. Monday, Norma drove her friend, Bobbye Priddy, to Springfield to the Grey Hound Bus Depot to begin a trip to Kansas City. She also had a vision check and a doctor’s appointment.
The sun was shining and there was a clear blue sky, Monday. The leaves on the oak trees were almost burgundy red with a smattering of yellow, brown, and orange here and there along with a few touches of bright red sumac and the contrasting dark green of cedars all came together to make a beautiful day all along the way to Springfield and back.
