Miller-Hall Reunion Held

The 26th annual Miller-Hall Reunion was held on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the Ava Community Center. There were 49 family members and friends enjoying the day.

Margaret Rosseau was spokesperson for the day. Bro. Bob Miller asked the blessing before a delicious potluck lunch was served.

It was discussed and voted to move the 27th Reunion to the Ava City Park to allow more space for the children to play. The Reunion will be held on September 30, 2012.

Bevy Moore read her Reunion poem and Eileen McCullough read Words To Ponder. Stephanie Wilson played Blessed Assurance on her guitar. Margaret Rosseau sang the old folks version of Jesus Loves Me.

Gifts were presented to youngest – Trenton McCullough, oldest lady – Nora Hunsaker, oldest man – Mack Miller, newlyweds – Nora and Lee, married longest – Jack and Barbara Breshears, oldest direct descendant – Mack Miller.

All children received a gift bag. Adult door prizes were given to Mike McCullough, Lee Williams, Preston Breshears, Nora Hunsaker and Tina Wilson.

Those attending the Reunion were: Mack Miller, Nora Hunsaker – children of Lock and Ella Hall Miller; other family members were: Jack and Barbara Breshears and Miracle, Lee Williams, James C. Miller, Terry and Delayna Dry, Gary and Annabelle Mincks, Preston Breshears, William and Connor, Margaret Rosseau, Eileen Richards, Mike and Tabitha McCullough, Michala, Hunter and Trenton, Bob and Linda McCleary, Bob and Susie Miller, Rex Crain, Lora Kay Davis, Juanita Shebiel, Vern and Kathleen Deatherage, Howard Morris, Gary and Bevy Moore, Dwayne and Teresa Nash, Sam and DeAnna Miller, Myles and Gannon, Joe and Tina Wilson, Stephanie and Brittney, Dale Hall, Roben and Stephanie Miller and Darrell Adams.
