Opening Sunday school Roy Hampton read the 22nd chapter of Matthew verses 36-40, and led in prayer.
Lee Hampton taught our lesson in the 6th chapter of St. John. We had our questions and answers. Ronnie Thomas still is trying to ask the hardest questions. He does a pretty good job of making you really look for them.
Our lesson was about Jesus feeding the multitude “He Said I Am The Bread of Life.” Also “Jesus Walks On The Sea.”
Bro. Lee Hampton asked the offering prayer. Roy Hampton passed the plate then the congregation sang. Sue Sisco did a special. Joe Lafferty preached the morning sermon in St. John the sixth chapter and 52nd verse and led in prayer. We had Lorraine Flores and Faye Pruett for our guests. We were so happy to have them, also Travis Hampton and Nichole. She is a good singer.
Roy Hampton dismissed the service and gave thanks for our dinner. We had a good fellowship.
Evening service was dismissed for our Fifth Sunday Singing at Goodhope General Baptist Church. We had a good attendance. There was a lot of young people present. It was good to seee young people sing and be a part of the service.
Don’t forget the next Fifth Sunday Singing in January at Goodhope Nazarene.
God bless. Until next time.
