“The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few, pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his harvest,” Luke 10;2.
We had a wonderful day in the Lord as we honored Pastor David with an apprecation dinner. We appreciate all who came and all who gave cards or gifts. We appreciate each and everyone one of you.
Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we all sang. Pastor David prayed for the prayer request. Brother Roy read James 5:7-11 for the devotion then dismissed us to class.
Please pray for the bereaved, unsaved, unspoken, country, military, Betty Satterfield and family, Rick Bailey and family, Bessie Hall, John and Zamber Little and family, Dara Strong and family, Kathy, Anna, Jr. Berry, Jeannie Miller, Crystal Lee, Tom Elliott, Sue Thomas, Marilyn, Dr. Sam Evans, Joan Pond and each other.
Quin Breeding and Dailyn Stanifer did the penny march for Camp Piland.
We missed those who were gone, but welcome our visitors. We hope they felt welcome and loved and will return.
We are so glad Dailyn and Lidia brought their grandma to church. She played a beautiful piano special for us.
Pastor David sang then preached from Psalm 54. The children made Pastor Appreciation cards and shared their favorite Bible stories. I gave them all balloons and glow in the dark bracelets.
In our evening service Sister Theta Nokes sang a special. Ella Faye Mitchell also sang for us. Pastor David sang then preached from Luke 6:46-49. We need to ask ourselves some questions about our relationship with Christ. Am I doing what He wants me to do and am I being the Christian He wants me to be. If it is not buillt on Jesus it will fall, but if my relationship is built on Jesus, it can withstand anything. A very good message.
We enjoyed being at Mt. Tabor Saturday evening for Pastor David to preach.
We love you all and invite you to come worship with us. May God bless you all as you walk with Him.
