Garrett Maggard, son of Eddie and Kim Maggard of Ava, competed in Grandmaster Han's Missouri State Championship last Saturday in Rolla. Garrett placed 1st in sparring and 3rd in forms in the black belt division, and 3rd in weapons which was open to all ranks. The competition was held at Rolla High School.
