Ava High School’s Fall Renaissance Assembly was held Tuesday afternoon in the Performing Arts Center to recognize students’ academic achievements for the spring semester of the 2010-11 school year.
Announced at the afternoon assembly were winners of White Cards, Blue Cards and Gold Cards, based on students’ grade point average, and Most Improved Students, nominated by their teachers for improvement in various areas.
More awards were presented in an evening program held Tuesday night in the PAC.
Since the academic awards are for achievements of the spring semester of the previous school year, awards were only presented to 10th, 11th and 12th grade students.
