Sunday morning service began with prayer requests and prayer. We sang some congregational hymns and greeted everyone.
Venita Brummet sang a beautiful song for a special.
Preston Breshears gave his testimony about the truck wreck and his injuries and the progress he has made with recovery. We had several out sick or with injuries again this week.
Brother Roberts brought the message from Acts 16:25-34, “Helping Others During Our Trials.”
We will be having a hayride at Walnut Grove Church on October 26th at 6:00-8:00 P.M.. It is always fun.
We are happy to report that little Lucas Hamby is home from the hospital and is growing and looking good.
We are sorry to hear that Melba Wilson fell and broke her hip and is having to spend some time at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center for therapy.
Last Monday, Donna Bannister came down and spent the day with us. We drove through the country and saw lots of pretty Fall colors and some wild turkeys.
I attended the Ladies Meeting at Ruby Garden on Monday evening. There were eleven ladies in attendence. We had a good time visiting and of course, eating.
Those visiting us this week were John Goss, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Pauline Okhousen, Jack, Barb and Miracle Breshears, Preston Breshears, Uncle Mack Miller, Bob and Linda Mc Cleary, Kevan Davis, Darlene Carnall and Kathy.
Delmar and I visited Laura Lansdown, Helen Allen, Ruth Hall, Melba Wilson, Irene Richards and Larry Peak at the nursing home one day.
Delmar and I enjoyed being in service for the singing with our daughter and son-in-law,Gary and Bevy Moore.
