We had good services Sunday morning and evening. Bro. Dewitt preached on the compassion of Jesus in Luke 7:11-15 about the young man, the only son of his widowed mother, who Jesus raised from the dead and delivered to his mother.
Jerry and I with daughter, Sherry and granddaughters, drove the Glade Trop Trail Sunday and enjoyed the drive. It wasn’t that pretty as far as colors, but there was a big crowd for dinner. We enjoyed the cloggers and music and ate dinner there. We drove home and later I went to evening services here. We had lots of good music and singing.
We are quilting today and have several baby quilts for the babies in need. We’ve made them in hopes to get them there next week.
The Haining family singers will be here in concert the 30th of October at 6 p.m. I haven’t heard them before except I was told they were from the Branson area and were very good. Hope we have a big crowd. Everyone is always welcome here.
