Bryant Heights

I heard this Monday morning that rain and cold weather were on their way.

I will have Skip and Billie coming Thursday from Florida.

All is well at Seminole. All last week was Missions Conference with Robert and Sandy Frazier of Mexico, Jonathan and Lexi Taylor of Ecuador and Ben and Ashley York from Ohio. Pastor Don got to show off his new 7 month-old grandson from Texas. He was born after his father passed away. He is very special to Don and Becky.

Sergeant Clifton Andrews was home from Fort Louis, Washington last week, staying Sunday through Wednesday. He will be shipped out with his company of 200 to Kuwait, Middle East in the Persian Gulf.

I wish to send birthday greetings to Geneva out there in Oregon. Her special day was the 13th and she moves up to 84. It is so hard to believe that we are now the older generation.

According to Gladys Cunningham, there isn’t much news. She is settled in her apartment. It is interesting to know that her next door neighbors are from Ava, MO. They used to live on 76 Highway near Basher. Gladys had a good visit with them and a witness of her faith in the Lord. There are many Christians living in the senior community. Her daughters, Barbara Chapman and Joyce Crumpley are in Bentonville, Arkansas at a craft fair. This was the city where Oscar was preaching before his death.

I have no news report from Nadine. I trust no news is good news.

Follow the example of Jesus, give out of love.
