“And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:15.
Ooops! We changed the date of Pastor Appreciation to October 30. We will have lunch after our morning worship service to honor Pastor David.
Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we all sang. David prayed for the request. Brother Roy read Psalm 71:1-12 for the devotion and dismissed us to class.
The children studied about Joseph in Sunday school and in children’s church. Drew Adams also read them a story about the four friends putting their sick friend down through the roof to Jesus for healing. We appreciate Sister Evelyn for your help.
Austin Maggard sang in our morning and evening services. He does a really good job. He and Hope did the penny march for Camp Piland.
Please pray for Betty Satterfield and family, Connie Cornelious, Sue Thomas, Joie Welker, Jeannie Miller, Crystal Lee, Lisa, Kathy, Anna Tom Elliott, Jr. Berry, Glenda Scott, unsaved, unspoken, Sherman Denney family (Craig and David), all bereaved, country and leaders, military men and women and each other.
Pastor David sang then preached from Luke 14:12-24. Be careful of the excuses we make. Sunday evening he sang then preached from John 15:11-16. Christians walk in the fruit of the spirit and produce fruit which can produce more Christians. We are chosen. He still loved those who presecuted Him therefore we should also love everyone.
Pastor David will preach at the Fifth Sunday Meeting at Mt. Tabor, October 29th at 5:00. Hope you can join us there or at Black Oak anytime.
May God bless you always as you walk with Him.
