Bonnie Phipps, Cecilia Edwards, Roy and Linda Freeman went over to Michael Freeman’s Sunday afternoon to visit with Cody and Lily Freeman who came home for the weekend.

After Bonnie got home that evening Richard McDonald and his friend came by and visited for quite a while. They had been down in Arkansas visiting and Mtn. Grove and Ava with relatives so they were going to head back home tomorrow.

Kristie took Lakota last Monday and had the cast taken off and they put a boot with a massage in it for her to wear. Lakota went to school the rest of the week and made it okay.

I stopped by Jo Stephens last Monday before I went to town. Tara Coonce and Jett visited with me last Tuesday.

Marsha Blakey and Ruby Smith both was operated on last Tuesday and Marsha came home on Wednesday and Ruby came home Thursday and both are doing pretty good, Marsha still has lots of pain.

Wednesday I went over and got my flu shot and saw some of the people I hadn’t seen since last year.

Wednesday I got nine-tenths of an inch of rain in my gage and one-half of an inch on Thursday.

Tara and Justin Coonce and Jett visited with me Thursday.

Friday I went to town to get my medicine and I went by Marie Dickey’s and then on over to Ronnie and Mary Lou Garfit’s and took them some green tomatoes and Mary Lou some of my Guidepost books and when I knocked on the door Ronnie couldn’t hear me so I put the tomatoes on the porch and tied the sack of books on the screen door and I told his sister Mona to call him and let him know they were there, but when she got a hold of Ronnie and he went out to get them they were gone.

I hope and pray that who ever took them will read the books and will get under such conviction that they will return them to Mary Lou.

Sunday after church I went over and visited with Mae Cox and she looked real good. She had gotten ready to go to church but her car wouldn’t start. I guess it had set to long without being started and battery ran down.

Sunday evening I attended Sherman Denney’s visitation.

Lets keep praying for our sick folks, the ones who are on the mend and the ones who have just got sick.

My prayers and sympathy go out to the Denney family and all the others who have lost a loved one.

Keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families in your prayers and the ones in training.
