University of Missouri Douglas County Extension in partnership with the Douglas County Soil and Water Board will be presenting a free Weed Workshop on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 6:00 p.m., at the Ava Victory Academy located at 1005 Northwest 12th Avenue in Ava, MO
Topics covered will include: Weed identification and control strategies (including chemical and non-chemical means), control of troublesome weeds in pasture and poisonous weeds.
There is no cost for the workshop, but pre-registration is required with a minimum of 15 participants needed in order to hold the work shop.
