A week ago Gary and I went to the Ava nursing home to visit his mother, Maxine Turner, but she wasn’t there. She was home doing okay.
Tuesday evening September 27, Ralph and Dana Brazeal went to the Ava City Park for their granddaughter, Zoe Shull’s 4th birthday party.
I got a phone call from Lora Clayton a couple of weeks ago to tell me Conley Clayton had died. He was lizzie Clayton Wolfe’s son, born on October 5, 1934.
The snakes are still out. Wednesday our dog was barking. I went outside a few steps from the front door and there sat a big copperhaed snake. It’s no longer living.
Thursday evening Paul and Honie Johnson had supper with us.
The weekend meeting at Camp Piland was full of blessings.
Happy Birthday to my nephews, Howard Strong on the 19th and Eli Shannon on the 20th. Howard will be 18 years old and Eli will be 5 years old. Happy Birthday to my sisters, Ella Faye Mitchell on the 22nd and Christine Clayton on the 21st and also to my sister-in-law, Vicki Goodman on the 22nd.
I got a postcard from T.J. He was in Edinburgh visiting a castle there.
