Sunday morning service was led by the Praise group with several songs. Preyer requests and prayer followed. Brother Roberts brought the message from I Peter 5:8, “Know Our Enemy.”

Sunday evening was opened with prayer and several hymns. Later was Bible trivia which the young people joined in and we all had a good time.

We heard that Gordon Sanders has a broken shoulder and we pray for his quick recovery. There are some of our youth who have broken bones from sports injuries. We pray for their quick recovery also.

Little Lucas Hamby is in the hospital for tests. We are praying for his healing too, also, for his parents Mike and Stacie Hamby. We are praying for Joe and Wilma Hamby also, as they are taking care of the other two little Hamby sweeties.

The ladies night out was at Ruby Garden on Monday evening. There were eleven ladies present and a good meal and pleasant visiting was enjoyed by all.

Preston Breshears will be giving his testimoney and showing his video at Walnut Grove Church this Sunday morning at 11:00 A.M. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come and hear and see the miracle God has perfromed in Preston’s life.

Nora Edwards visited on Tuesday with Arleen Henningsen. On Friday, she visited with Tillie, Seth and Gage Fowler in Ava.

Spending the day in Branson on Thursday, where they enjoyed seeing the Clay Cooper Country Express Show and then lunch at the Grand Country Buffet were Mary Mackey, Joyce Erickson, Maxine Lund and Nora Edwards.

Visiting in the home of Toby and Jacinda Sheppard, Kendra and Shelden on Sunday were Miranda Milligan, Alexis Swearengin, Bob and Nora Edwards.

Visiting Delmar and me last week were, Donna Bannister, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Violet Flair and Pauline Okhousen.I enjoyed attending the retirement party at DoCo Sheltered Workshop for Larry Peak. Larry had worked at the workshop since it’s beginning 33 years ago.

On Thursday, I drove family to doctor appointments in Ava and also in Monett.

On Friday, Donna Bannister, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams and I made a trip to Windsor, Mo. to visit with Uncle Hugh and Aunt Violet Morris. We also visited with Judie James while there. We had to stop and shop at the Amish store while there too. We came back through Marshfield and visited with Vern and Kathleen Deatherage at the Harvest Festival there.

On Saturday, Delmar and I made a trip to Ash Grove and visited with Delmar’s son, Frank Rosseau. We enjoyed a nice visit with him. We came back to Marshfield and looked at all the nice craft displays and visited with Vern and Kathleen Deatherage too.

On Sunday we attended church then just stayed at home the rest of the day for an afternoon of rest and a nap before going back to church Sunday evening.
