This has been an exceptional week for us. We held a two day revival and a One-Day Vacation Bible School at Piland Youth Camp. A group from Macedonia General Baptist Church in Franklin, Kentucky came to join us in this revival and outreach effort, and all who attended were richly blessed.
After revival service Friday evening, VBS was held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and revival services Saturday evening. We held an early worship service Sunday morning for the group from Kentucky and saw them on their way back home.
Our regular worship service was preceeded by special songs from Barnetta and Beverly McNiece. Then our morning message was taken from the first three verses of II Thessalonians, “Our Need of Revival,” with a closing thought from the final verses of the preceeding chapter.
The evening message was from Proverbs 26:16, “Foolishness,” how to recognize and avoid the effects of it by applying the principles so plainly stated in God’s Word.
Attend worship services next Sunday. Revival has begun, “Come and Get You Some.” We are still saving your seat.
