Sunday school opened with a good morning from Bro. Marshall. We sang a song for Jesus. Prayer requests were many. Prayer was given by Sister Peggy. Bro. Marshall read scripture from Proverbs 12:14-19.
Bro. Dallas greeted all with a good morning. He prayed and began a review of last weeks lesson. Bro. Dallas asked for someone to read this weeks lesson from Acts 27:1-26. Bro. Brian read the scripture that Bro. Dallas requested. We had a good lesson with some class discussion and comments.
We sang for the Lord. The choir was in good voice. We gave our gifts to the Lord with a prayer by Sister Mary.
Bro. Paul greeted all with a good morning to everyone. Before we had our specials we presented Sister Ulla with a love offering from the church. She is back in her home and trying to get things back in order from the fire six months ago. We wish her good things and less stress. We had specials by Sister Peggy, Bro. Marshall and Sister Patsy played a piano solo. Testimonies were given.
Bro. Paul read scripture from Joshua 3:1-17. Bro. Paul followed with prayer. He then gave us a good message from the Lord. We closed with a song and prayer by Sister Naomi.
Our evening service began with our prayer circle. Again many prayer requests. Prayer was led by Sister Ulla. We sang for the Lord.
Bro. Mike Overturf and family were here from Gainesville. His sons, Samuel and Jacob gave us specials by doing piano solos which we enjoyed very much. Other specials were from Sister Ulla and Sister Peggy. Sister Patsy did a beautiful hymn as a piano solo.
Bro. Paul read scripture from Matthew 24:32-44. He gave us a good message from the Lord. We closed with a song of invitation and Sister Ulla dismissed us with prayer.
We had our Fall get-together Saturday night and had a great time in fellowship. We all went home stuffed from all the good food.
Remember the revival begins Monday night, October 17th at 7:00 p.m. each night. Bro. Danny Cottengim will be our speaker. Come and get a blessing. We will have special music each night. Come prepared to join in singing praises to the Lord. Bring your instruments and songs.
