Opening prayer Sunday was by Doug Miller.
In our Sunday school class we learned about the superiority of wisdom in making our way through this world. Scripture teaches us that wisdom is the choice to lead us right.
Happy Birthday wishes go out to Doug Miller.
Our special song was by Rod and Joanne Welker and a reading was given by Pauline Welker.
Joie Welker is doing better but continues to take treatments on his foot.
Remember Sharon Ginder in your prayers as she is in the hospital with pneumonia and also all the other prayer requests sent up to our Heavenly Father.
Pastor Hall’s morning message was from Matthew 27:19-26 and text from verse 22. When Pilate said what shall I do with Jesus which is called Christ. This could be the most important question for us. Serve Him or reject Him. Always think things through.
In our evening service our special song was by a group – Faye Allen, Brenda Hampil, Pauline Welker, Sheila and Glenda Miller and Narvil Tetrick.
Last Saturday was Molasses Making Day at the Narvil and Beverly Tetrick farm with a big barbeque and dinner served to lots of family and some cousins from Wichita. Fun was had by all.
Pastor Hall’s evening message was from Luke 24:48-53. After the resurrection of Jesus, he told His disciples, ” I send the promise of my Father upon you, stay in Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” The holy spirit and power will fall on them.
