The Ava R-I School District will be hosting 1st Quarter Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 1-8 p.m.
Students will have a half-day of classes, and will be released at 12:45.
Elementary teachers, as well as middle and high school Advisory teachers, will be scheduling parent conferences. First quarter grade cards will be distributed during the conferences.
Parents are invited to visit with teachers not only to discuss academic, attendance, and social issues, but also to learn more about and to enroll in the Bears Den.
A series of 10-minute informational meetings will be presented in both cafeterias at the top of every hour. Afternoon snacks and an evening chili supper will be provided for attendees.
