Red Bud News

A good morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a  safe and good weekend. The weather was nice for a cookout or a picnic. It has been a little cool in the mornings and the grass wet from dew.

Well, another month has passed us by and I don’t know where it went.

We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing home. May your road to recovery be real soon.

Our sympathy to all who have lost a loved one. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We say welcome to our new residents. I hope you enjoy our village as much as I do.

This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. Visitors of Fae the past week were Evelyn Witchey, Lois Graham, Norma Jones and Ed Hall. Fae and Evelyn Witchey visited Mr. and Mrs. Harold Easley Friday evening.

Visitors of Norma Jones have been Kay Tittle, Naomi, Jacob and Derek Watkins. Phone calls from Naomi, Kay and Robin. I was glad to hear from them all.

We didn’t have an exercise class last week due to the closing of the activity room for rewiring for our new generator.

Norma had a nice visit with Leah and Connie Lee Sunday afternoon at the nursing home. I sure was good to see them and also Wilene Adams.

If you have news just let us know. I’ll leave you with this little saying, Life without God is like an unsharpended pencil, it has no point.” Jesus loves you.
