Visiting Mrs. Wilma (Williams) Hampton of Ozark, Missouri was her double cousin, Bethine (Stillings) Mitchell of Hillsboro, Oregon. Her and Wilma correspond by letter frequently. Wilma met her at McDonalds in Ozark where they had breakfast. They then visited another double cousin, Imogene of Ozark. Bethine’s sister was having a nice visit. Bethine and Wilma ate at Rosy Jo’s in Ozark, a cafĂ©. Those visiting with Bethine in the Hampton home were Wilma, Lee and Darrell. Saturday the group went to Tony Stilling’s Molasses Making Day in Ava, MO. There they visited with two more double cousins, Vernie and Dale Keith Stillings. Bethine’s brother also had a nice visit with them. They got to visit lots of Stillings cousins and other relatives. Elwood Williams, Wilma’s brother and his girlfriend, Peggy, were there also. Sorry he didn’t get to sing and play as he always does there. Bethine said she was looking forward to hearing him sing. It was just too rainy. They had some singing though. All had a good time even though it was rainy. They enjoyed lots of good food. Bethine attended church Sunday at Breedon. Saturday night Bethine and Wilma ate at Canton Chinese in Nixa. They went to Republic to decorate Donna Sue Bethine’s sister’s grave. Bethine returned home Monday.
