Last Weeks News – A good morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a great weekend and stayed dry in all the rain that we had. We sure needed it. It changed some peoples plans that they had, but there will be another day to plan again.
On Thursday of last week we had our monthly dinner and it was done by the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center ladies. Our hats are off to them. They did a great job and the food sure was good. Again, we appreciate the ladies. There were 22 residents and 5 guests that signed the attendance book. I know some didn’t sign it. On Monday Connie Burris and Lena Carline came and we had game day in the afternoon. We always look forward to Connie and enjoy the time she spends with us as she keeps us on our toes. A good time was had by all who attended. I think there was nine residents accounted for. Also on Monday Holly Dry came and took pictures for some of the residents who had signed the list. I think Jacob Watkins just made her day. Jacob and Peggy Greene entertained us for part of the afternoon. We sang some songs as Peggy played the piano. Then Holly was back for more picture taking.
Visitors of Norma Jones the past week were Amy June, Naomi, Jacob, Lane and Ralissa Watkins and Peggy Greene.
We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes. Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.
The other day someone asked me about the birthday people and the only thing that I could think of was I guess my mind went on vacation and forgot to come back, so here’s to the birthday people. May you have a great day with many more to come.
This news from the desk of Lois Graham. Lois attended the second birthday party for her great, great nieces, Addison and Allison Garrison Saturday evening at the Assembly of God Church. There were four sets of grandparents and other family members that attended.
