Carl and Joan Fletcher visited with Billy Fletcher, Saturday. Edgar and Sharon Stewart took Billy to a medical appointment in Springfield, Monday.
Norma Stillings was especially busy last week. It just happened that the Douglas County Homemakers’ semi-annual meeting, the Retired Teachers monthly meeting, the Support the Handicapped monthly meeting, CHART’s monthly meeting, and the Bethany Baptist Church Annual Mission Conference all hit the same week. Norma was able to attend all these meetings and still go to the Heart of the Ozarks and Rocky Ridge nursing homes to visit and play the piano.
Hal and Dawn Baker and their family of Clinton, Arkansas and Samuel and Barbara Martin of St. Robert, Missouri had supper Thursday evening with Norma Stillings and her son, Dan Stillings. They had come to Ava for the Mission Conference.
Norma Stillings and her friend, Bobbye Priddy, attended the birthday celebration for Eva Painter, Sunday afternoon.
