This passed Lord’s Day we were blessed before the worship service with specials from Miss Beverly McNiece, Miss Branetta McNiece, Mrs. Lola Mayberry and Ella Fay Mitchell. The morning message was “Revival Desired” from our text in Psalm 85:6, ” Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee.” We heard some of the implications of the need for revival, first to each of us “personally” to all that are part of Christ’s church and the need for revival on the national scene.
In our evening service Sharon Skaggs sang. We heard the evening message, “The Sound of Marching” from our text II Samuel 5:24 and the admonition in Psalm 119:126, “It is time for thee, Lord, to work for they have made void thy law.”
We had so many spare seats that I didn’t even have to put the “Reserved” sign out on yours. But don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten you, come on, be our guest. I’ll be looking for you and you will be blessed.
