Last weeks news – During Sunday school we had 18 in attendance and during morning service we had 22 in attendance. We had many prayer requests. Our Sunday school lesson was over Luke 17-19. We had a special by Bro. Lyndon, Bro. Scott and Sis. DiAnne. Bro. Scott’s morning message was “Be Concered For Others, But Also Be Concerned For Yourselves.”
During evening service we had 25 in attendance. We took up prayer requests and heard specials. Specials were sung by Bro. Mike, Madalyn and Mallory, Bro. Scott, Bro. Lyndon and Sis. DiAnne. The evening message was delivered from Matthew 10:5-16, by Bro. Scott.
This weeks news – During Wednesday service we had 15 in attendance and we continued our study over the book of Genesis. Sunday morning we started out by taking up prayer requests. After prayer requests we dismissed to Sunday school. The children had 11 attend Sunday school and the adults had 13 attend. After Sunday school the kids sang us a couple of songs. A Happy Birthday to Sister Dee Dee and God bless you and also a happy 20 year sober anniversary to Bro. Paul. God is so good! Bro. Scott delivered the morning message from the book of Psalms 37:1-13. We had 34 people in attendance. During the evening service we started with the song service, specials and testimonies. Specials were sung by Bro. Scott, Sis. Shanna, Bro. Lyndon, Bro. Larry, Sis. DiAnne and also by Bro. Larry, Sis. Gin and Sis. Aloma. Bro. Scott delivered our evening message from the book of I John 4:1-8, “Try The Spirits.”
Service times at New Hope are Wednesday evening at 7 p.m., Sunday school at 10 a.m., morning worship at 11 a.m. and evening worship at 7 p.m.
