Sunday school opened with Bro. Marshall greeting all with a great good morning. We sang a song for the Lord and had many prayer requests. Prayer was led by Sister Patsy. Bro. Marshall read scripture from Proverbs 10:16-32. Bro. Paul filled in for Bro. Dallas and read the Sunday school lesson from Acts 25:1-27. We had a lot of class discussion and comments.
Our morning service opened with the singing of some great hymns. The choir was in good voice. We gave our gifts to the Lord as Sister Peggy led in prayer. We had specials by Bro. Marshall, Sister Nancy and Sister Peggy.
Bro. Paul opened the morning service with a good morning to all. He read scripture from II Kings 20:1-11. He prayed and gave us a great message from the Lord. We closed with a song and prayer and a blessing on the food was given by Bro. Marshall.
We all gathered in the fellowship room for some great good and fellowship. Some of us went to Breedon for the Fourth Sunday Singing. A good time was had by all.
Our evening service began with our prayer circle. We had many prayer requests and prayer was led by Sister Mary. We sang for the Lord and had specials by Sister Juanita, Bro. Marshall, Sister Peggy, Sister Ulla nad Sister Patsy.
Bro. Paul read scripture from I Corinthians 10 and gave us a great message from the Lord. Bro. Marshall read an article about “Luke Warm Christians.” Something to think about. We closed with prayer from Sister Lee.
Our Saturday Night Singing was small, but the Lord was there. Remember to mark your calendar so you can join us the fourth Saturday night of every month to sing for the Lord. The next singing will be October 22 at 7 p.m. Hope to see you then.
We are having a hot dog and chili feed Saturday night, October 8 at 6 p.m. Come and join us for some good fellowship.
Our Fall Revival will begin October 17 at 7:00 p.m each night. Bro. Danny Cottengim will be bringing the message. We will have special singing each night. Bring your instruments and songs and join in.
