The Douglas County Council met and planned future events.
The meeting began by reading the Club Collect followed by reading the 23rd Psalm for a devotion.
The morning was spent discussing the D.O.W. Achievement Day Event. Douglas County will bring a salad or vegetable for lunch.
The ladies will meet at the Sacred Heart Church basement at 8:30 on Oct. 18 to begin setting up items for the silent auction. The meeting is to begin at 10 a.m. on the 18th.
If you wish to exchange a gift, bring a $5 gift.
Lois read the minutes and treasurer’s report which were approved. Eleven ladies answered roll by answering, “Do you have a pet?”
Some ideas for the Spring Fling were discussed. Douglas County will host this in April 2012.
Get well wishes were extended to Billy Fletcher.
