Church of the Living God

Sunday morning was blessed. Linda R. and the Sunday school lesson was interesting. I like all the thoughts she brings out and then asks us what do we think?

The morning message was given by Chad E. His text started with Luke 17:3. Jesus told His disciples, if your brother trepass against you, forgive him. That is hard to do when you think its not your fault. If we are not willing to forgive, God will not forgive us.

In Matthew is states that we need to forgive seventy times seven. That sure is a lot of forgiving. Sometimes I think I will only forgive him maybe two more times, guess what? That doesn’t work with God.

Our Father which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. It reafirms what God says about forgiving. Why do we have such a problem with forgiving, proud stiff neck? Be humble, He will bless you.

Evening service was by Michael Moran, a young man of nineteen, who God is blessing. The Bible states, ” Tell us he clothes the grass, shall he not much more clothe us, o ye of little faith.”

Ask in prayer, believing ye shall receive. Prayer starts it off, then believe.

God is God and He will always be God, with our God all things are possible.

Prayer requests were for Zelda Graham, Sue Thomas, Geard Family, Linda P. and our country.

If you’re looking for a home church, we are at the corner of N.W. 6th Ave. and N.W. 7th St.

Wednesday night Bible study and young people’s service starts at 6 p.m., Sunday morning at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m. Gary Moore is our pastor, 417-683-6547.
