Ava will be host to the Missouri Class 3 District 10 softball tournament next week.
The first round of play will be on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 5 with Forsyth facing Hollister at 4 o’clock.
Ava, seeded third, will play Mtn. Grove at 6 p.m. Wednesday in first-round action.
Reeds Spring and Mtn. View-Liberty are seeded 1 and 2 in the tournament and have first-round byes. The winner of the Forsyth-Hollister game will play Reeds Spring at 4 o’clock Thursday, Oct. 6, and the winner of the Ava-Mtn. Grove game will play Liberty at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Finals will be played at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8.
Admission for all district games will be $4 for everyone. No local passes will be honored.
