Netta Lea Holt, 77 years, passed to heaven on Sept. 17, 2011 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, Mo., from a long illness.
Netta was born April 2, 1934 in McClurg, Mo., to Horace H. and Lola Ann (Mitchell) Potter.
Netta was a lifelong resident of Douglas County and Ava community. She was a retired farmer and also a waitress. On July 27, 1952 Netta and Donald W. Holt were united in marriage in Mtn. Home, Ark.
Netta was a Christian. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed being with her family and friends.
Netta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald W. Holt, one brother, Burl Harris, four sisters, Ruby Johnson, Ruth Deckard, Emogene Gibson and Lois Shelton.
Netta is survived by a special niece, Loralie Wilson, Springfield, Mo.; many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; a good friend, Herval Graham; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Netta were Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m. in the Ava Cemetery with the Revs. Gary Moore and Freeda Holt officiating. Services were conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
