Kevin Dale Lakey, 49 years, passed away on Sept. 10, 2011 at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, Mo.
Kevin was born Jan. 28, 1962 in Gainesville, Mo., to Noble and Bonnie (Byerlee) Lakey.
Kevin loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing and canoeing on Bryant Creek near his home.
Kevin was preceded in death by two brothers Gary and Bill Lakey.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Noble and Bonnie Lakey, of Ava, Mo.; one brother, Stanley, also of Ava; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Kevin were Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Denlow Cemetery. Officiating was Joe Corum.
