Church started with Sunday morning singing. Ronnie Epps took over as superintendent. Prayer was given by Bro. James Moore. Sunday school lesson was The Example Church, I Thess. 1-10 taught by Ronnie Epps. After a good Sunday school lesson we sang several songs. Specials were by Jake Lawson, Abby Lawson, Jennifer Lawson, Lena Ingram, Elsie Atchison and Raymond Haden.
Bro. Justin Lawson brought the message. He read Hebrews 11:6. He prayed then read Genesis 12:1 and others. After a good message we had altar prayer. Church started Sunday night with prayer by Bro. Woodrow Coonce. We sang several songs. Specials were Jake Lawson, Abby Lawson, Lena Ingram, Elsie Atchison, Jennifer Lawson and Raymond and Naida Haden. Bro. Justin Lawson brought the message. He read Luke 13:6-9 and others. After a good message we had altar prayer. We were dismissed by Sister Lena Ingram.
The Annual Singing will be held at Friendship Sunday, September 18. There will be regular service in morning then lunch at noon. Come back together at 1:30 p.m. for singing. Everyone welcome. The church is located on U Highway.
Friday visitors of Elsie Atchison were Lena Ingram and Aaliyah Irby. Elsie went with Lena to the doctor in Springfield.
Saturday Charla Heinlein took Elsie Atchison to the annual White River Valley Electric Co-op meeting. Teona Heinlein and Ciara Pittman went with them. Visiting Elsie Sunday were Noel and Donna Atchison, Lena and Peyton Ingram and Charla Heinlein.
Bro. James Moore preached at Mt. Calvary Church Sunday night.
