August 31 – Wednesday evening service began with singing. Bro. Jeff was our leader tonight. He taught from the 17th chapter of Luke. Sister Melba led us in prayer. Many requests were mentioned. We had a real good service with everyone reading from the scriptures. Sister Janice taught our young people. We are very thankful she feels this need to teach our youth. Bro. Hi will be our leader next week. We were dismissed in prayer by Sister Doris.
Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Hi Lambeth led in a prayer of thanksgiving for answered prayers.
Bro. Jack Essary welomed everyone. Prayer requests were taken and praise reports were given. Sis Lorrinda Coulter led in prayer. Jack read Psalms 115:3-11 for our devotion. After Sunday school Happy Birthday was sung to Doris Lambeth. God bless her. Sis. Tracy Shipley led the little ones in song. Testimonies were given by Lorrinda Coulter, Jeff Shipley, Laureena Mitchell and Melissa Harmon.
Praise and Worship began with singing. Singing today was Melissa Harmon. Pastor Bill Austin spoke this morning from Numbers 10:29-32, Psalms 48:17 and Romans 8:14-18. He spoke about how great our God is and how foolish to follow after something made by man. God will not lead us wrong. He loves us and wants the best for us. We are always glad for visitors.

Pastor Bill spoke from Mark 14:3-7 and Galatians 2:20. Lets do things for the Lord while we can let Him lead you. Do what we can. We can pray and offer help in many ways to others. Do it as unto Christ. Little is much when God is in it.
