Betty Lou Kinyon, 74 years, 7 months, and 28 days old, passed away on Sept. 7, 2011 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, Mo.
Betty was born Jan. 10, 1937 in Ava, Mo., to Glenn and Gladys (Evilsisor) Witchey.
Betty was a homemaker and resident of the Ava community most of her life. In the summer of 1966 Betty and Jewel Kinyon were united in marriage.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Betty enjoyed her family and loved animals.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; her husband, Jewel; four brothers, Bob, Cecil, Loren “Gene” and Earl Witchey; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Witchey and Roma Witchey; and two infant children.
Betty is survived by two sisters, Arlyce Lankford, Brookline, Mo., and Leona Springs, Warsaw, Mo.; two aunts, Mary Frick, Wichita, Kan., and Virginia Chestnut, Gentry, Ark.; two sisters-in-law, Doris and Evelyn Witchey, both of Ava, Mo.; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Even though Betty is gone, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo. Burial will be at Whites Creek Cemetery at a later date and time.
