Smallett

I went to church at Noble on Sunday morning to help with the music.

Sunday night was our singing night at Walnut Grove and we enjoyed several good specials and some good congregational songs as well.

We are saddened at the news of Ronnie Fleetwood’s passing away. We are praying for his family.

There are several having health issues and we pray for their quick and complete recovery.

We are happy to welcome little mister Lucas Reece Hamby into the neighborhood. He made his arrival on Friday afternoon. He is a beautiful baby boy. I was glad to get to hold him on Sunday evening.

Those visiting in our home this week were Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Jack, Barb and Miracle Breshears, Beth and Johnathon Stafford, Mandy and Callie Logan, Vickie Clayton, Becky Carter, Donna Bannister, Bevy Moore and Pauline Okhousen.

Becky, Donna, Delmar and I made a day trip to West Plains on Monday and shopped at Aldi’s then came home through Gainesville. We enjoyed the day of sightseeing.

Delmar and I visited on Saturday in Mansfield with Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams then with Keith and Donna Bannister and Shawn, Summer and Caidence Johnson.

We have been enjoying the cooler weather, but still need some moisture for the garden, which is about to fizzle out.

Delmar has been mowing and weed eating, but doesn’t think he will have to do much more of that if it holds off on raining.

Until next week, watch for the Master to come down and wake up the world each morning.
