Rainbow Ridge

Claude Robertson visited with Tom and Jewell Johnson last week. Great granddaughter, Kylie Loftin, also came by for a visit with Tom and Jewell.

Norma Stillings got word from Chalmer Hendrix of Riverbank, California that his brother, Virgil Hendrix, had died. Several members of the Hendrix and Rogers families had moved to California and Idaho for work in about 1940. A lot of them worked in the canneries and mills for many years. Norma’s parents, Melvin and Juanita Rogers, made several trips to California and Idaho to visit with these aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that had left Missouri. When they visited Chalmer and Lucille in Riverbank, Virgil and some of the others would come over. So many of those relatives have already passed away, but they live on in our memories.

Terry Dean Stillings and his sister, Norma Lea, visited their Aunt Gladys Huff at Ozark, Missouri, Friday afternoon.
