We finished our Sunday school quarter with the book of Ruth and begin a new quarter next week, so if you were waiting to come because you didn’t want to be in the middle of a series, next Sunday we’ll start off on a whole new subject.
We began morning worship service with congregational singing and then a special by Ella Faye Mitchell. Our morning message was entitled “What Shall Be The Sign” from texts in Matthew 12:38-40 and Matthew 24. Today, even as in the time of Christ, people clamor for “a sign,” “proof,” when if we will only observe the many signs he shows us through his creation, it is very plain that His coming is soon.
Our evening message was entitled, “Five Looks,” from the book of Romans 6:16-18. We should look upward in thanks, inward in gratitude, outward in compassion, backward in remembrance and forward in preparation.
Yes, I still have your seat reserved, although there were some folks giving it a longing look. Come and be our guest, and be blessed, any time you go to worship and expect a blessing, you will find one.
