Well, I want to start out by praising the Lord for my church and my Brothers and Sisters in Christ all over.
During Wednesday night Bible study we have been studying out of the book of Genesis. We had 21 people attend our Bible study.
Sunday morning we started out with many prayer requests before our Sunday school. This week we studied Luke 14:1 and 15:32. Our attendance for Sunday school was 19. We sang songs and heard testimonies. Bro. Scott brought forth our morning message from the book of Proverbs 15:9-14, “Growing in the knowledge of Christ.” When we surrender our lives to being a follower of Christ, we have an infinite amount of growth spiritually that can be done and our growth in the truth is detrimental. Sometimes it is so hard to discover that we can be wrong. There is only the truth in Jesus and in the word of God, and we must be open and thankful to the reproof that God gives us as we go along. I’m sure we could all agree that we want to be a sheep in the flock and those who don’t accept critique from the Master as a stubborn mule will surely be forsaken. We had 24 attend morning service.
Evening service started out with prayer requests. We sang songs and heard several testimonies. We had specials sung by Calem and Pastor Scott and Larry, DeeDee, Aloma, Lyndon, Virginia and DiAnne. Our evening message, brought forth by our Pastor was from Deuteronomy 28:1-13, “God’s protection or God’s wrath?”
Our service times are as follows: Wednesday evening Bible study at 7 p.m., Sunday school at 10 a.m., morning worship at 11 a.m. and evening worship at 7 p.m.
