Gentryville

A very nice morning, this Tuesday morning, August 30. Seems this summer has had a lot of natural disaster. Glad “Irene” wasn’t any worse, still it did a lot of water and wind damage.

My daughter, Patty Stephens, of Galena came down Thrusday. We took a drive down to Hodson Mill and then came back by the Dora Café and ate some pie.

Ann Collins spent from Wednesday until Saturday in Springfield with Carol Wise and Riley. Riley started school Thursday a freshman at Parkview.

Ann and Carol met Angela Nesbit, her two children and a little friends of Aubrey’s for lunch, Thursday then went to her home and visited awhile.

Karen and Doug Fredrick went to the bullrides at Ozark Friday night, also Jared, Sirena Cole and Isabell of Mtn. Grove went.

River Stillwood visited Saturday night with Bertha and Dean Scherer.

Agnes Williams visited Sunday with Janet, Paul and Katlyn Smith.

Ted Collins came by Sunday evening after work and visited his Mom, Ann Collins.

I am expecting news any day now of a new great granddaughter in Moberly.

Bertha and Dean Scherer met a friend, Shiela Falwell in West Plains for lunch Sunday.

Agnes Williams and Karen Fredrick has lunch with me yesterday (Monday) Karen mowed the yard for me.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Royce Hutchison.
