Opening Sunday school Roy Hampton read the Revelation 22:14 and led in prayer. Lee Hampton taught the adult class in Luke 21. We had questions and answers. Joe Lafferty led the offering prayer. Roy Hampton took up the offering, a few of us testified and no birthdays were today. Congregation sang a few songs. Angel Haden and Mom Sisco sang, as well as, Sue Sisco, the church quartet and Sue Thomas played while Ronnie Thomas, Sue Sisco, Joe Lafferty and Clara Lafferty helped.
The morning sermon was in the first chapter of Acts. Joe read the scripture and led in prayer. We had a pretty good attendance today. Thank the Lord. Bro. Roy Hampton dismissed in prayer.
Evening service started with singing. Sue Sisco sang by request along with the quartet. Roy Hampton preached in the 22nd chapter of Matthew, the first message then Joe Lafferty spoke in the book of Exodus, the third chapter and the fifth verse – “The Land of Milk and Honey.” We testified and told of our experiences with the Lord. We had prayer and dismissed.
