Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after congregational singing. He took prayer request which Pastor David prayed for. He then read Philippians 1:3-11 for the devotion and dismissed us to class.
Please pray for the Pat Brazeal and Ronnie Fleetwood families and all other bereaved. Also Betty Satterfield and family, Crystal Lee, Jeannie Miller, Kathy, Anna, Jr. Berry, Hurricane victims, country and leaders, military, unsaved, unspoken, and each other.
Hunter Adams, Wyatt and Liviya Wharton did the penny march for Camp Piland. We appreciate our little helpers.
Hunter sang a special for us. Pastor David sang then preached from John 10:9. Jesus is the door we must enter to be saved. He invites us to come in, but we choose. Please don’t wait too long. A good message to think about and act on.
The children studied about becoming fishers of men. Hunter showed us some fish after church.

Black Oak Church opened the doors for membership Sunday morning, August 28. We had two to come forward and join. We thank God for them and welcome them into our membership.
Sunday evening we had our Fourth Sunday Singing. We appreciate all who came and all who participated. We were blessed with good songs and testimonies.
God is so good to us and I am so thankful for answers of prayer and for Jesus walking with me everyday.
Keep walking with Jesus and He will bless you always.
