We would like to say thanks, once again, to our corporate sponsors for last year: American Legion Post #112, Ava Beverage, Ava Building Supply, Ava Drug, Cash Gas Co, LLC, Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Cooper Lumber of Ava, Douglas County Livestock Auction, Inc., Longdollar Furniture and Appliance, Rainbow Trout Ranch, Inc., Sanders Rock Products Inc., Scroll Compressors, St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Town and Country Bank, and West Plains, Homes. We really appreciate their sponsorship and look forward to working with them this coming year.
We continue to receive calls and people coming to the center inquiring about the Social Security Representative. Because of funding cuts, the representative no longer makes trips to outlying counties. Seniors in Douglas County must travel to Springfield, Lebanon, or West Plains.
