An Ava woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash in western Douglas County last Friday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Heather F. Tidwell, 24, ran her 2001 Dodge off the roadway and overturned.
The crash occurred at 3 p.m. on County Road 447 west of Plainview School.
The wreck was investigated by Tpr. Justin Piccinino.
A pedestrian who was hit while walking in the roadway in Ozark County was airlifted to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains Saturday evening.
The Highway Patrol said Eliahn R. Bourland, 15, of Pottersville, was walking on Ozark County Road 379 off Highway 181 at Dora when she was hit by a 1992 Ford Ranger driven by Humberto C. Tardo, 56, of Dora.
The driver of the pickup was apparently not hurt.
That crash was investigated by Cpl. Jim Britt, of the Highway Patrol.
