We got enough rain showers to make the grass grow last week, though other neighborhoods got more rain than we did.

Bob and Imogene Grisham served a delicious dinner to the officers of Gainesville Eastern Star Chapter Monday evening, August 22nd, a special treat. Our Chapter meetings begin September 12th, after being “on vacation” in July and August. All members are encouraged to attend as we will have an election of new officers for the new year. Come get acquainted with our newest members and enjoy the fellowship and dinner at 6:30 pm.

Robert Roberts on Tuesday night, Bro. Randy Dalton on Wednesday night and Bro. Bill Bales Thursday night. Good crowds are expected each night.
Maxine Smith’s cousin, Bill Stone and wife, from Hugo, Oklahoma and Bill’s sister, Ailene Harris, from Mtn. Home, Arkansas, visited her Sunday afternoon.
