After Sunday school and our opening choir and congregational singing, we were treated to a special by four great youngsters and their Sunday school teacher. Miss Brunetta McNiece, Miss Beverly McNiece, Jake Mayberry, Joe Mayberry and their proud teacher, Mrs. Lola Mayberry did a great job with a special song. The morning message was “What We Need,” from our text in II Timothy 3:16, “All scripture is given by inspiration if God” of course before you can understand that you have to “Believer in God” which was the underlying point, “What We Need.” You may have heard a similar message at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church, if you took the opportunity to attend last weeks revival service there.
Our evening message was from II Chronicles 24, the story of King Joash and his mistake of going into battle, without consulting the Lord, and how greatly it cost him.
