Oak Grove Church

After Sunday school this last Sunday, we were treated to two special songs from Miss Burnetta McNiece, Miss Beverly McNiece, Miss Alley Nasif and their Sunday school  teacher, Mrs. Lola Mayberry. Then Ella Fay Mitchell sang a special.

Our morning message was taken mainly from Psalm 119, with our emphasis on the many references ti a request for “Revival” related to the Hebrew word “chayah” translated “quicken,” in so many vereses of this Psalm. As an example, (v.37) “Turn my eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me, in thy way.”

The evening message was “God Uses Little Things” to accomplish great things, with text reference from II Kings 5:2 and others. Like the little Hebrew maid in the house of Naaman, the Syrian Commander who required a cure for leprosy. And the little cloud the size of a man’s hand which brought an abundance of rain.

Your seat is still reserved, the air-conditioner was working well and some folks say you’re never going to show up, but I’m still praying for you. Come and make believers out of the nay-sayers. At least come once, just to prove them wrong, besides, if you come looking for a blessing, you’ll find one.
