We have been blessed with another wonderful week and progress continues on the remodel of our little church. I pray God blesses the people who put all things aside and donate their time, their labor, and time with their families to work long hours. We are truly grateful for all those who have and are contributing and we are especially thankful that we are still able to have services while the remodel is going on. Tuesday morning three gathered together for prayer meeting. During Wednesday night Bible Study we had 24 attend as we continued on through our Bible study over the book of Genesis. Sunday morning Bro. Mike took up prayer requests. We asked prayer for our troops, our nation, our community, our families, the lost, all the other churches worshipping God in spirit and in truth and many more. Bro. Lyndon led our Bible school lesson over the gospel or Luke and the 13th chapter. After Sunday school we sang songs and were blessed with testimonies. Bro. Scott delivered God’s word from Psalms 51:1-19, a psalm of David.
Sunday evening we had 28 attend services. We had a guest evangelist for the evening, Bro. Lynn Cantrell and his wife, Julie. Specials were sang by several people, Bro. Zed and Sis. Vesta, Bro. Bo and Sis. Jeanna, Bro. Mike and Bro. Scott, Bro. Lyndon and Sis. DiAnne.
Our message brought forth by Bro. Lynn was from Matthew 7:13-14 and Revelation 22:12. We want to thank all our visitors for being a part of our service and appreciate Bro. Lynn for the blessing we received from the message delivered, and hope they come again soon.
