Sunday school opened with a good morning from Bro. Marshall. We sang for Jesus. We had prayer requests for the lost, for family, friends, the sick, our church and each other. Prayer was led by Sister Naomi. Bro. Marshall read scripture from Proverbs, chapter 1 verse 10.
Bro. Dallas began with prayer and then reviewed last Sundays lesson from Acts, chapter 21. He then continued on in Acts, chapter 21, verses 19-28. Sister Mary read the verses and we had class discussion and comments.
We sang happy birthday to Bro. Ed Robertson. We wish him many more. Our little angels took up the Coins For Christ.
We sang for the Lord some great hymns. We gave our gifts to the Lord and Sister Juanita led in prayer to bless them. We had specials by Bro. Marshall, Sister Peggy, Sister Juanita and Bro. Tommy Newsome and family.
Bro. Paul welcomed all and read scripture from the word, Matthew 10:1-15. He gave us a good message from God. We closed with a song and prayer by Sister Mary.
Our evening service opened with our prayer circle. We had many prayer requests. Prayer was led by Sister Ulla. We sang for Jesus. We had prayer by Sister Peggy. Sister Patsy blessed us with some piano solos. Sister Ulla and Sister Juanita sang some special music.
Bro. Paul read scripture from Deuteronomy chapter 30 verses 11-20. It was a good message from the Lord. We closed in prayer led by Sister Alice.
