Faith Rock Church

We had a beautiful Tuesday with a good rain this morning.  We had a good morning quilting with eight ladies coming to help.  We gave out a few and had some to send out this week.

We had good service Sunday with Pastor Benny Dewitt bringing the morning message from Phil 12:1-10, 21, 23 and some from Hebrews.

We had a good Sunday school lesson on bring a friend to Jesus.  Bro. Fleetwood always does a good job teaching.

We had several visitors and enjoyed all the good musicians and singers, glad to see our church growing.

We had several birthdays this week.  We wish Sis. Betty Hesterlee a very happy birthday and also she and Bro. Darrell are having their 48th anniversary the 18th.  My grandson Andrew will be 23 the 18th; also a happy birthday to Sis. Mary Conrad this Saturday.  Happy anniversary to Bro. Bill and Evelina Miller.

I want to mention we are having a baptizing this Sunday on K highway at 2:00 pm for those wanting to come.  We are all looking forward to that Sunday.

Sunday night we had a very special service with lots of good specials.  Sister Loretta Dewitt always brings our Sunday night service and her message was “You can’t lose for winning” and her message was from Acts 12:1-10 and 21, 22, 23 and some in Hebrews. Wonderful message.

Sis. Earnestine Martin told me that she had a wonderful visit with her son in Texas.  Her daughter in Springfield drove them down and they had a great visit.

I forgot to mention my husband Jerry is having a birthday the 19th and I hope he has a good day.  He loves to go to Oldfield Opry so maybe I can take him out to eat Saturday for his birthday.  Ava Theatre will be special this Thursday, also from Oldfield.

Darrel and Betty missed their daughter Patty Tingler coming down and spending Saturday night and going to church with them.  It is different her and grandkids living at Ozark again.  Betty misses Ben, Josh and Nathan they haven’t got to come for several weeks.  Nathan works at Wal-Mart, Josh works at Arby’s.  Ben is looking for work.  They all like it at Ozark, they have a pretty house.  Patty works this weekend she is a nurse, I’m so proud of her, she is going to school.  I can hardly wait for Sunday to come, we have really good church, and we are having old time services.  This is church like I was raised on; I love the move of God.  If you don’t have a home church, we would love to have you.  God is a real good God.  Hope to see you in church at Faith Rock Sunday. God Bless.
