This Monday a very nice cool day and inside I got some house cleaning done. It has been so hot for so long this past week feels good.
All came out for both services this Sunday, Pastor Don preached both services, very good message. Pastor Don gave birthday honor to Mrs. Nona Haskew. This Monday she is 97 years young, and I tell Nona she looks not a day older than she did more than seven years ago when I first met her at church. You will find Nona in church every Sunday service rain or shine.
I was one of the many last Tuesday at 2:00 pm attending the funeral services for Rev. Oscar Cunningham at Seminole Baptist Temple. I was told there was nine hundred or more family and friends came from everywhere for the wonderful service. Pastor Don and Reg Kelly preached many hearts with their message. While there, I enjoyed a visit with my cousin Janice Kelly of Norwood.
Marise was visiting with Ila Davis one after noon last week, Ila and her daughter now lives in Springfield.
It takes a good lived life, to have a good funeral.
